FIDLAR\'s debut LP plunges the listener into the band\'s beer-soaked, late-night, raucous garage party. Named for a skate slogan and boasting a distinct punk pedigree (two members are sons of T.S.O.L.’s Greg Kuehn), the SoCal group drives forward with the kind of nihilism that has good times in mind and little else. This album touches blues riffs and surf-rock reverb with the same dirty paws, immediately resonating with anyone who’s ever found themselves on the beach alone picking up empties after the party’s over.
