A known quantity behind the scenes as well as in the spotlight, Salomón Villada Hoyos’ ubiquity makes him one of the most formidable figures in Latin music. In recent years, the Colombian artist has lent his songwriting talent to pop stars like Anitta and CNCO as well as leading modern reggaetoneros J Balvin and Dalex, and secured a spot in the superheroic música urbana assemblage known as The Academy. Following 2019’s *19*, a level-up moment for Feid thanks in part to the standout Sech team-up “Sígueme,” *FERXXO (VOL 1: M.O.R.)* aims high and consistently hits its marks. He applies the skills he’s honed so successfully for others with creative precision here, yielding the sacrilegious, ponderous “ATEO” and the subtle Sean Paul interpolation “PERREOXOXO.” With fellow hitmaker Sky El Rompiendo in his corner, he concocts reggaetón gems like “RELXJXTE” and the coercive Maluma feature “FRESH KERIAS.”
