The Heart is a Monster
The L.A. space-rock/alt-metal trio Failure's 1996 album Fantastic Planet is considered by some a sleeper classic, one that attracted a cult following after the band broke up in 1997. With The Heart Is a Monster, their first new LP in 19 years, they manage to establish continuity with their back catalog while also giving a glimpse of what they may have sounded like had they evolved organically up to this point.
