On his third album’s lead single, Fabolous broke away from the R&B choruses of his previous hits for the Just Blaze-produced banger “Breathe” and fulfilled his promise as one of New York’s wittiest MCs. Real Talk followed through with more tough beats from DJ Khaled and Scott Storch.

It was entirely possible that the first single from the third Fabolous album would be a club track or a soft-styled pop-oriented number aimed at the female audience.
