His latest, fairly collaboration-heavy effort brings a number of others into the Dominican dembow don’s comfort zone, including those heretofore unattached to the sound, like Farina and French Montana. The results largely and reliably focus on the dance floor, a place where El Alfa’s music invariably thrives. From relatively broad club fare like “Rumba y Fiesta” with Valentino to the persistent dembow of “Bayketaki” and “Panamá” with frequent studio partner Chael Produciendo, *Sabiduria* seems intent on keeping the party moving. The single “GALAPIN” builds and explodes repeatedly with the aid of El Mayor Clásico, while the reggaetón pop of “Probadita” with Cuban singer Lenier brings a tropical twist to the mix. Even when he deviates from the relentless and revelatory percussive thump, as on the trap excursions “Yo No Cambio Lo Pana” and the bilingual “Goyard” with Lil Pump, he remains on point.
