The sequel to the *Rags* EP they released two months prior, *Robots* finds EARTHGANG still cruising Atlanta streets alongside a fictional, hapless Lyft driver, picking up riders and dropping thoughtful, funky meditations on modern life, all while expanding their musical and emotional palette. Minor-key piano teeters against massive bass in \"Artificial,\" while the title track bounces on vocoder and 8-bit sound effects. Closing track \"Flickted\" is more neo-soul than hip-hop, Doctur Dot and Johnny Venus singing rather than rapping over blunted drums and sparkling synths.
