No surprise here: DJ Snake’s debut album is a slam dunk. The unstoppable French producer has had a staggering streak of viral hits (“Turn Down For What,” “Lean On,” and so on), but *Encore* makes it seem like he was just warming up. The bass drops are bigger, the pop hooks are sweeter, and the vocal effects are, somehow, even wilder. It’s no wonder he picked a team of fellow adrenaline junkies to come along for the ride, including Skrillex, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Migos, and of course, Justin Bieber.

DJ Snake is best known for his endless sugar high “Turn Down For What.” His solo album has a few successfully ridiculous tracks but mostly makes you question the need for its existence.
