The world knows DJ Esco as Future’s DJ, but would we know Future if it weren’t for Esco’s musical input? There is no definitive answer to that question, but this Esco-curated Future album is clear evidence of their collaborative bond. Future appears on every song on *Kolorblind*, rapping alongside peers like Ty Dolla $ign and Young Thug as well as opposite ends of the NYC rap spectrum, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Nas. The production ranges from laidback and plodding (“Warzone”) to all the way turned up (“Bring It Out”). Like a Future concert, *Kolorblind* delivers a wide swath of what the two are capable of together.
