The Swedish three-piece Dirty Loops have one of the most original sounds in the current music scene: a jazz fusion–EDM–rock amalgamation that nods to Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, and Weather Report, sometimes all in one song. The fact that the single \"Hit Me\"—a pyrotechnic jam with lightning chord changes and stratospheric vocals—has leant itself to house and techno remixes demonstrates the band\'s range. Elsewhere on their debut, they nod to Wonder\'s \"High Enough\" on \"Accidentally in Love,\" merge burbling slap-bass with synth stabs on \"Sexy Girls,\" and deliver a quizzical jazz interpretation of Avicii\'s mega-hit \"Wake Me Up.\"

Dirty Loops' full-length debut album, 2014's Loopified, showcases the Swedish trio's ambitious jazz, prog rock, R&B, and electronic dance-inflected pop music.
