"Music for brighter days. And for dancing and dreamin' away." Sing a song fighter is happy to finally present to you this amazing debut album from Dina Ögon (which is Swedish for "your eyes"). Just like on the previous singles the band keep cooking up some wonderful witchy stew of laidback, heavenly pop groove. "Dina ögon is like the lovechild of Fleetwood Mac, Eric B & Rakim, Khruangbin and some obscure Motown b-side singles." Although a debut album,the band members are far from new beginners. Daniel Ögren (guitars) used to be the guitar player in Anna Von Hausswolff's band. He has also been heavily involved in the recordings of the secret Swedish act Sven Wunder. And most importantly, Daniel have released several instrumental solo albums under his own name the last years and they have been critically praised for his skilled playfulness and heartfelt DIY production. Anna Ahnlund (vocals) have also released several solo albums with her own quirky wonderful mix of Swedish prog music and folk ballads. She sang on the hit single "idag" on Daniel Ögren's latest album "Fastingen-92" and that lit a spark and they decided to form this band. Along with their favorite musicians: Love Örsan on bass and Christopher Cantillo (also playing on the Sven Wunder albums and is a member of Franska trion) on drums. The previous singles have been featured and highlighted on many music blogs around the world (Aquarium Drunkard, rough trade etc) and we are so excited to release this magical piece of music. Ps.
