A country superstar gets back to the basics of revelry and reflection. Roof-raising, party-animal anthems like “Am I the Only One” and “5-1-5-0” have a rough-hewn outlaw vibe, but Bentley nevertheless remains a complex craftsman. The slowly building, anthemic title track and the spare, emotionally intense, acoustic-based “Thinking of You” feel just as convincing as his hard-stomping good-time tunes, and *Home* ultimately whets your appetite for more of both.
