Songs From Planet Earth is a beating heart signal out from this world. The album documents Ros' journey from the city to the countryside in search of sanctuary. Featuring John Kennedy Radio X X-Posure Hot Ones 'Know The Score', 'Our Day Will Come' and LOUD WOMEN Singles of the Week 'Bring Down The Government', 'Our Day Will Come'. 'Isolation Days' was the first song written in Spring 2020 in the early bad dream of the first lockdown. 'Know The Score' was the last song written for the album and was triggered by Sarah Everard's arrest for breach of lock down regulations and subsequent murder by a serving police officer. We produced the album ourselves in October 2021 with help from engineer/studio owner Isi Clarke at Grange Farm Studio during a two week residential session. Thank you to Xtra Mile Recordings for having faith in us. "These ten songs provide a chastening scrapbook of images of a broken land. This is protest music in its most sublime expression drawing on the deeply personal. But the personal is political, never more so than this. Anger is an energy." No.9 Top 20 Albums of 2022 THE PUNK SITE "A masterclass in perfectly channelled rage, in which the quieter more fragile moments hit you just as hard as when the drums pound like an earthquake and the guitars push the needle into the red" JOYZINE "The true depth of this album is in the songwriting. Music has always had a place bringing power to account and the Two Furies have added to the catalogue of great protest albums documenting a time and place in our lives." FATEA MAGAZINE "Do like the forward looking ways of deux furieuses, their positiveness" ORGAN "Powerful, emotive and thoroughly rocking new album." LOUD WOMEN "Fantastic new album" JOHN KENNEDY RADIO X "Predictably brilliant, surprisingly different, outstanding album" LISTEN WITH MONGER "Thought provoking and brutally honest, a band near the peak of their powers" FULT PELT MUSIC "An eloquently spat out rallying cry for the people of Britain" WHEN THE HORN BLOWS
