Two Atlanta cats who\'ve been working together for many years now, Count Bass D & DJ Pocket have already given us a gang of fantastic material, including their *In the Loop* trilogy and the *Activity* album. While they\'ve put out stellar material on their own, their collabo projects always seem to bring out the best in each other musically and lyrically. Here, they invite plenty of other likeminded artists to the party, including H20, Senor Kaos, Knotty, Eddie Meeks, Flux, Clayway, and JAX. The resulting songs are loaded with decidedly left-field but undeniable funky production, topped with quotable verses from a variety of Southeastern hip-hop heavyweights. Whether you\'re already up on these guys or just looking for something different but still dope, Pocket and The Count prove that the A has much more to offer than interchangeable trap raps over huge synths and generic stutter-snares.
