I like the idea of making hits for yourself. Songs that are a hit to you, or something you create that you can enjoy for years. Something with longevity. That's what a hit is to me. Longevity to me and my ears, so that I can present my aesthetic to others. I consider it so many things, but one of them is a responsibility. A responsibility to attempt resonance with my brothers and sisters. What if you made a song of your own that you liked so much that it made you sing along to it like in Risky Business? That's what I'm going for. Also, I believe that the true beauty lies in the imperfections rather than perfection. We'll see how these hold up over time. Enjoy.
