Into the Air

Cold Beat is a San Francisco quartet fronted by Grass Widow bassist Hannah Lew. The sequencing of the band's second album plots a journey between endearingly scrappy garage rock and mechanistic, melancholic electro-pop, lending the compact album an epic sense of scale.
