Young artist Charlotte de Witte continues to bolster a credible catalogue of tough, no-nonsense Techno with the introduction of her second solo EP for Tiga’s extolled Turbo label. With a recent nod from Alan Fitzpatrick who included her Weltschmerz (Melodic Theme) in his recent Fabric mix she is an artist with a penchant for dark and moody atmospherics. Now – after her inclusion in the recent 12-track VA on Suara – the previously gold-selling Ghentian producer follows up her collaboration with Oscar & The Wolf and her first solo EP on London’s Bad Life with Sehnsucht: a bold four-track record packed with burly kick drums, steely synth tones and hypnotic vocal sampling primed for discerning big-room crowds. Also included in the package is a ruthless remix from Suara boss Coyu.
