Leading off with songs like “F\*ck You,” “Come Kill Me,” and “What I Gotta Live For,” *S.D.E.* finds Cam’ron in a considerably more confrontational mood than on his debut. Even so, Cam at his angriest is more playful than most any other rapper, and when he’s actually trying to be playful, he’s probably the most charming rhyme stylist alive. “Do It Again,” “Double Up,” and the Police-sampling “What Means the World to You” boast tongue-twisting wordplay, but Cam has such a conversational delivery that it always feels like he’s talking next to you on a street corner.

Cam'ron, who scored a gold album and a string of chart singles with his first album, Confessions of Fire, begins his second with the uncompromising "F*** You," which establishes immediately that he is turning to a more aggressive gangsta style.
