An indie MC coming out of San Diego, Blame One has been doing his thing for a minute, putting in work in the depths of the underground scene since throughout the \'00s. On *Endurance*, he connects with a wide variety of beat mongers, with a different producer lacing each of the album\'s 16 tracks. Like the featured guest rappers, most of them are way below the radar, but nonetheless provide an assortment of solid sample-heavy jams for him to rock on. Sporting a distinctly lyrical approach, focused more on wordy verses than catchy hooks, he rhymes primarily about his family, daily routine, and true love for hip-hop. \"Still Doin Me\" and \"Brett Favre\'n It\" discuss his undying dedication to his craft, \"Classic Hits\" is a nice little organ-propelled joint comparing himself to golden era V.I.P.s, while \"CA All Day\" is a thoroughly funky celebration of his resident state, as well as a strong posse cut featuring local homies Jimmy Powers, Kahlee, Saviorself, and Nothinless.
