This album is Mastered for iTunes. Bjork has always been a forward thinker. Her 2011 album *Biophilia* was a massive undertaking where she collaborated with musicians and app developers, scientists and instrument-makers to create a musical experience that went far beyond passive listening. *Bastards* is a hand-picked collection of remixes of her favorite artists, including 16bit, Hudson Mohawke, Death Grips, Matthew Herbert and more. The remixes were previously available scattered over the internet; here, Bjork collects them for fans who haven\'t been able to keep track of her every move. The remixes recreate the songs. There\'s a large difference between the Omar Souleyman version of \"Crystalline\" by 16bit that opens the album and the pastiche remix from Matthew Herbert that concludes the album. Don\'t let the multiple appearances of a track fool you. \"Thunderbolt\" remixed by Death Grips is very different from the Omar Souleyman remix. The songs transform into unique experiences.
