In fact, some longtime fans may even consider *Move of Ten* a better record than its rather epic companion piece, *Oversteps*. Why? Because it gets to the point faster, riding tidal waves of future-shocked funk and torrential acid tones for 10 tracks and a little more than 45 minutes. The only breathers are brief ones, from the stargazing soundscapes of \"Iris Was a Pupil\" to the uneasy listening of \"Ylm0.\" Other than that, the IDM icons seem to have everything set to hyper-speed, as highly complex hooks are scrapped from some of the craziest headphone candy you\'ll unwrap all year. And hey, if you miss vintage Autechre records like *Amber* and *Incunabula*, there\'s always \"M62\" — a sleek & simple battering-ram beat, pinned to ambient techno textures that\'ll have you reaching for your old Aphex Twin 12-inches as well. 

Their second LP in a matter of months, Move of Ten is a beat-driven complement to Oversteps' dubstep-nodding ambiance.
