Monkey Been To Burn Town

This remix EP features three remixes of "Monkey Riches" and one remix of "New Town Burnout", the originals of which appeared on Animal Collective's lauded 2012 album, Centipede Hz. Here, the likes of Gang Gang Dance's Brian Degraw and Chicago Juke producer Traxman get their mitts on these great tracks.

This four-song EP contains remixes of "Monkey Riches" by Teengirl Fantasy, Brian DeGraw of Gang Gang Dance, and Traxman, and adds an interpretation of "New Town Burnout" by Seattle avant-rap outfit Shabazz Palaces.

Monkey Been to Burntown is a brief companion piece to Animal Collective's claustrophobic 2012 full-length Centipede Hz.
