Bouncy Castle

This collection comes from a phase when I found myself enamoured with the combination of funk guitars, glitch-inspired sound design, and snappy electronic drums with a lot of groove. The upbeat tracks resulting from this brew of ingredients inspired a lot of playfulness in my lyrics and vocals - it’s probably telling that the most serious Bouncy Castle gets is on a track entitled “Alriiiiiiight, Yeah!”, written in celebration of being able to make music for a living. Other songs cover such thoughtful and weighty material as misplacing one’s phone, not being able to connect to the internet, and an article I read about things scientists were doing with rats' brains. Also, “Mullets”, which is about mullets. Enjoy the glitch funk.
