The Wounded Astronaut
Anders Parker THE WOUNDED ASTRONAUT The Wounded Astronaut is a mini album comprised of extra tracks from Tell It To The Dust sessions. Although built from extra tracks, the quality by no means wanes. The title track starts with a blast of feedback and screeching guitars and continues on its interstellar journey. "Come Off, I Found You," and "Fast and True" are all rocking gut punches, while "Everyone Will Shine" is an abstract acoustic meditation on existence. "The Smile" carries the abbreviated record out into the sunshine. Album guests include Joan Wasser (Joan as Policewoman), Richard Buckner, Jud Ehrbar (Space Needle, Reservoir). Random fact: "The Smile" is a William Blake poem that Parker set to music. Originally released March 22, 2005
