It seems fitting for AC/DC\'s last album of the 20th century that they would reunite with drummer Phil Rudd. This 1995 album then marked the return of the core group that recorded the essential *Back in Black* in 1983. Rarely more rock solid, this watertight unit also benefited from having Rick Rubin behind the production console. Here was someone who understood the basic, primal impetus behind hard rock wasn\'t about musical prowess or complexity, it was about banging riffs, passion, and choruses that make you never want to let go of the night. AC/DC sounds impeccably on point with tracks like \"Hard as a Rock\" and \"Burnin\' Alive,\" both of which ring out with anthemic authority. The band\'s leeringly lurid song titles reach an all-time high here while other new tracks like \"Hail Caesar\" and \"The Furor\" show off something close to political outrage.
