There’s a reason ABBA were Sweden’s top export throughout the \'70s; their pop hits were in a magical class of their own. This live album is compiled from their four-night stand at London’s Wembley Arena in November 1979. In the days before Auto-Tune, singers had to nail it correctly in the moment—and ABBA’s four members were as shiny and perfect in concert as they were in the studio. The same went for their impeccable backing band. Here on their well-known hits (“Waterloo,” “Dancing Queen”), lesser-known tracks (“Summer Night City”), and the previously unreleased song “I’m Still Alive,” ABBA gave their fans an honestly great show.
