Cozy Tapes, Vol. 2: Too Cozy

Released less than a year after *Cozy Tapes, Vol. 1*, A$AP Mob’s second summit is a stylish testament to the powers of the crew album. Featuring a fat guest list (including Frank Ocean, Quavo, Playboi Carti, Gucci Mane, and Lil Yachty), *Cozy Tapes Vol. 2*—like the series’ first edition—leans heavy on A$AP Rocky and Ferg, but also showcases Twelvyy (“Coziest”), Nast, and Ant (the crew cut “Feels So Good”). At its best, the album captures the crowded-house vibe of a bunch of talented, imaginative guys practically tripping over each other to get to the mic (the manic “What Happens,” the star-studded “RAF”).
